March 11, 2022 - In the last two weeks since Vladimir Putin launched his invasion into Ukraine, more than two million Ukrainians have been displaced. We have been incredibly inspired and deeply moved by the resilience of the Ukrainian people, and motivated to see the world continue to come together in this unprecedented crisis. In collaboration with HOUSE OF SLAY, the Asian Pacific Filmmakers Experience, is encouraging our community to summon the strength of humanity and empower ourselves and each other to aid the innocent victims of this war.

If you have the capacity to donate, below are vetted organizations that you can donate to directly. Additionally, if you are in town for SXSW in Austin, Texas, please see the below DINE WITH UKRAINE ATX ASIAN EDITION for local AAPI eateries and businesses who are donating a percentage of their sales proceeds to World Central Kitchen. If you were already considering purchasing HOUSE OF SLAY merch, they are donating 100% net proceeds to aid Save the Children and World Central Kitchen. If you are not in a position to donate, we urge you to share reliable resources, keep up with the news, and continue to show up in any way you can. Be the Change!

But please also remember to take care of yourself through everything. We need you. As the HOUSE OF SLAY reminds us, BE YOUR OWN SUPERHERO™
